We are looking for a motivated Graduate Health & Safety Officer to support our H&S team across multiple sites in Swinford, Co. Mayo.
Responsibilities:
Assist with conducting site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
Support the development, maintenance, and updating of Health & Safety documentation
Help monitor compliance with company safety policies, industry standards, and legal requirements
Participate in incident and near-miss investigations and contribute to follow-up reporting
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Health & Safety department
Assist with organising safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Health & Safety or a related field
Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills
Enthusiastic and willing to gain hands-on experience in H&S operations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant legislation is beneficial, but full training will be provided
