OverviewWork as a senior member of the ETF Platform team to exercise, automate and validate the ETF environment during a rapid period of growth and change. Evaluate dynamic business cases and implement automation tools to maximize platform availability. The role combines deep hands-on automation expertise with the ability to influence teams, guide technical direction and partner with Engineering and Product stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Product Owners, Agile Teams, Delivery Managers or Professional Services to understand the Non-Functional Requirements of product/ projectsCreate and maintain functionality within Performance Test FrameworksCreate comprehensive test plans from non-functional RequirementsCreate and execute automated performance testsCreate, organize and maintain test artifactsAnalyze test results to identify testing trends / themesSpin up and tear down Test Environments as and when requiredDocument software defects; proactively communicate issues with developers and other project team membersAdhere to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product deliveryActively participate in the agile software development process including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesParticipate in Cross Functional Team activities as neededQualificationsEducation:B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical course of study or Business with an MIS background.Experience10 - 12 years of experience in Performance Test Engineering in a process driven technology environment on Cloud based infrastructureDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills involving multi-tiered, high-performance database applicationsExtensive experience with Testing ToolsExperience with Java, PL/SQLDevOps skills – e.g., knowledge of different Cloud Platforms, CICD ToolsGit/GithubDemonstrated experience implementing and executing ETF testing against web, native/desktop applications, APIs and batch applications.Demonstrated ability translating ETF business requirements into comprehensive non-functional and technical test plansKnowledge in Financial Services a plusA minimum of 5 years working with an Agile development methodology strongly desiredEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
