Job Title: AutoCad Designer
About the Role
We are working with one of Ireland's leading manufacturers of timber frame homes and roof structures.
Their clients range from private individuals to prestigious national building and construction companies.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced AutoCad Designer to join their in-house team based in Longford.
This is a permanent role with a competitive package on offer for the successful candidate.
Job Responsibilities
* Create and manage design programmes in line with client contractual agreements.
* Manage all technical aspects of the business, including internal and external queries.
* Work closely with the estimating team to contribute technical knowledge and value engineering at the tender stage.
* Manage and develop a team of in-house designers, setting targets and reporting on progress.
* Work alongside the Production Manager to ensure all information for manufacture is in line with manufacturing requirements and improve processes where required.
* Benchmark customer satisfaction and build long-lasting relationships with key accounts across Ireland.
* Liaise with client design teams and external consultants in relation to live projects.
Job Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a design role in the Timber Frame, Modular Design, or Residential Sectors.
* Proficient in AutoCAD software and knowledge of Digital Delivery Principles.
* Develop drawings for new and existing projects.
* Strong communication skills and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
* Results-driven whilst participating in a team environment.
