Job Title:Senior Manager, Risk Quality Assurance and Market and Liquidity Risk Oversight, Trade Floor Risk ManagementOur client is an international Corporate and Investment bank that operates its European hub from Dublin.Role OverviewThis Senior Manager role combines two main responsibilities:Leading risk quality assurance (2LOD) for regulatory reporting, ensuring controls are effective and regulatory submissions are accurate.Overseeing market, liquidity, and interest rate risk for the Capital Markets and Treasury functions.The role focuses on maintaining high standards in regulatory reporting and providing assurance to senior management and regulators.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all activities comply with regulations, internal policies, and procedures.Lead Trade Floor Risk Management, ensuring business activities align with risk and compliance standards.Manage quality assurance for all Tier 1 regulatory returns by sampling and verifying data to maintain regulatory standards.Provide risk oversight and guidance to support business decision-making.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of banking regulations, including liquidity, market risk, and capital requirements, and experience with regulatory reporting.Have prior experience setting up or operating a similar QA / assurance frameworkExperience working with business teams, understanding risk appetite, and making informed decisions independently.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Advanced IT skills adaptable to multiple systems and applications.Good understanding of financial markets.Leadership experience managing a team of risk professionals.The ideal candidate:A senior second-line risk professional with hands-on experience designing and running a Risk Quality Assurance programme over regulatory returns, particularly across liquidity, capital, market risk and IRRBB.Technically strong, highly independent, and comfortable challenging both the business and regulatory reporting teams.Understand assurance, not just reporting, can connect business activity to regulatory outcomes, and have the credibility to present QA findings to senior governance forums.Reward:Competitive salaryBonusCar allowanceHelath & PensionHybrid working - 4 days in office, 1 day remote
