Position
Full Time Healthcare Assistant for Elm Hall
Responsibilities
Supporting the nursing staff in providing high‑quality holistic care to our residents
Ensuring residents' hygiene and personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while preserving residents' dignity at all times
Assisting residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needs
Assisting residents with mobilisation as appropriate and using correct aids
Escorting or transferring residents as directed by nursing staff
Assisting in end‑of‑life care
Performing any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management
Qualifications and Skills
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or relevant healthcare qualification (or working towards)
Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring attitude
Good level of English language skills
Availability to work varied shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends, across Monday to Sunday
