An opportunity has arisen for a BMS Site Engineer to take full responsibility for a large, high-profile pharmaceutical facility in Athlone. This is a fully site-based role, offering stability, autonomy, and long-term progression.
You'll act as the main point of contact for all BMS service, maintenance, and project upgrades, working closely with site stakeholders to ensure the building systems remain compliant, reliable, and future-ready.

Responsibilities
Act as the on-site BMS lead for a live pharmaceutical environment
Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on BMS systems
Take ownership of small works, upgrades, and optimisation projects
Be the technical interface between the site team, contractors, and management
Fault-find, modify, and commission BMS software and hardware
Ensure systems support GMP compliance, uptime, and energy efficiency
Build trusted xyswxtq relationships as the face of BMS on site
Desired Experience
Strong experience as a BMS / Controls Engineer in a site-based or service role
Good working knowledge of BMS platforms
Experience in pharma, life sciences, data centres, or critical environments
Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of a site
Strong fault-finding, commissioning, and customer-facing skills
