Overview
The Corporate Actions Senior Manager is responsible for the operational management of a global function within the Corporate Actions team. Responsibilities include hiring, talent development, performance management, daily prioritization, achievement of business goals, business planning and project management. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise to key group and organizational projects and initiatives and interact with various levels of management and cross functional business partners. Responsibilities
Lead the operational management of a global Corporate Actions function
Hire, develop talent, and manage performance within the team
Prioritize daily work and drive achievement of business goals
Lead business planning and project management initiatives
Provide subject matter expertise to key group and organizational projects
Collaborate with management and cross-functional business partners

Qualifications
8+ years of relevant industry experience
4+ years of experience in Corporate Actions
3+ years of management experience
Bachelor's degree required
Skills
Deep knowledge of Corporate Actions concepts and practices
Understanding of the custody industry and mutual fund operations
Ability to solve complex problems across Corporate Actions disciplines
Strong leadership and performance management capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong team-building and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
Ability to perform secondary reviews of complex event processing
Innovative mindset with a willingness to improve processes using Agile practices

Ensure client requests are processed within SLAs and in line with Fidelity and regulatory guidelines
Maintain risk and compliance controls; identify and mitigate risks
Review control reports to ensure timely and accurate day-to-day activities
Collaborate with peers to recommend changes to systems, processes, and reporting
Conduct staffing actions (hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, etc.)

Coordinate with Fund Accounting and Pricing on urgent Corporate Actions inquiries
