AI Security Engineer Role at Verizon
About the Job
We are looking for a skilled and curious AI Security Engineer to help safeguard the next generation of intelligent systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing security assessments of AI/ML systems, including model pipelines, APIs and underlying infrastructure.
* Conducting architecture reviews to evaluate security posture, identify control gaps and recommend design improvements.
* Performing threat modeling for AI features and products, with a focus on adversarial attack vectors and AI-specific risks
* Collaborating with multiple business units to embed security into the AI lifecycle.
* Contributing to secure design guidelines, architecture patterns and control frameworks for AI/ML
Requirements:
* Experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud or data security.
* Strong technical knowledge of AI / ML technologies.
* Comprehensive understanding of cyber-based frameworks including STRIDE and MITRE ATLAS
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Familiarity with adversarial ML risks and AI-specific threat vectors
* Knowledge of large enterprise environments, cloud infrastructure and services, network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.), and secure architectures.
