Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Skidded Switchgear Solutions
Responsibilities
Integrated Skidded Structures: Participate in the electrical design and integration of skidded solutions from bid stage to completion, preparing design and workshop documentation and ordering BoMs for installation material and non‑critical equipment.
Ensuring Compliance and Best Practices: Apply international, national, and internal standards to ensure all designs are safe, compliant, and cost‑effective, integrating good engineering practices throughout the process.
Collaborating Across Teams: Actively participate in project kick‑off and coordination meetings, engaging cross‑functional teams—including architectural, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and site engineers—to ensure cohesive project execution.
Supporting Execution and Site Activities: Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly, collaborating with site managers, manufacturing, quality control, and commissioning engineers to resolve structural issues and ensure safe and efficient implementation.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, building services or a related degree.
Experience: Graduate position ideally from a building services background.
Language: Fluent in English.
Software Skills: Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, EPLAN/Amtech, and MS Office.
Key Competencies: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, creativity, problem‑solving, organisation, flexibility, and strong team collaboration.
