Planner / Scheduler - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract
Ireland is a hub for the Life Sciences Sector, with global companies establishing and expanding manufacturing facilities across the country. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work via Quanta on the client’s side for a major pharmaceutical organization in the picturesque Munster region of Ireland.
Located just 20 minutes from the nearest international airport, the manufacturing site is accessible for those wishing to commute to Ireland for this contract. The position requires on-site presence five days a week, Monday to Friday, for 45 hours.
Role Summary:
* Develop and implement planning, reporting, and analytical tools for the Tech Ops organization.
* Chair weekly planning and scheduling meetings.
* Accurately track, control, and report plan vs. actual performance.
* Ensure compliance with all current IOPS cGxP standards (e.g., Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices).
* Maintain inspection readiness at all times.
* Create clear work plans to facilitate technician execution.
* Interact with the CMMS system to organize large data sets into actionable work packages.
* Level load and resource plan work fronts.
* Identify schedule issues and constraints, proposing mitigations.
* Summarize detailed schedules tailored to specific audiences.
* Establish and routinely track KPIs for the function.
* Engage with cross-functional teams for schedule development and forward planning.
* Lead schedule workshops and conduct scenario planning.
* Coordinate with Manufacturing and Maintenance scheduling teams for handover dates and access windows.
Must Have:
* BS/BA in engineering or a scientific field, or relevant trade qualification, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Relevant experience can substitute for educational requirements.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
* Knowledge and experience with Oracle Primavera.
