We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in the Irish market to join our client's team.
Our client is a Gold Partner of Ireland's innovative "One Stop Shop" initiative within the National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme, supported by SEAI grants.
This role is crucial in driving the success of our home energy upgrade projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
About the Role:
You will be the central point of contact for clients, guiding them through every stage of the process, from initial consultation to final completion for home energy upgrades.
You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each home energy upgrade project.
Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Contractor Coordination: Manage and oversee the work of external contractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans and quality standards.
Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources (time, materials, personnel) to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact project timelines or budgets.
Financial Management: Track project expenses, manage budgets, and ensure projects remain profitable.
Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice to homeowners on Home Energy Assessments, SEAI grant applications, and available finance options (including the Home Energy Upgrade Loan Scheme).
Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant regulations and building codes.
Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
Site Visits: Conduct thorough site visits, including accessing attics and other high areas as needed.
This role covers Kerry, Limerick, and Cork, requiring frequent fieldwork.
Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in project management, ideally within the construction or energy efficiency sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction practices and building regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Full driving license and own transport.
