The successful candidate will need to have good work ethic as well as a hands-on approach.Duties Include (but are not limited to):Food preparation tasksHygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areasFood serving and basic cleaning tasksOrganising food preparation areas and adhering to all food safety proceduresEnsuring facilities are replenished and tidy as you go throughout serviceProviding support service to residents in a timely and professional fashionFollowing the agreed HACCP standards and proceduresCompleting daily records (cleaning/food safety)Requirements:Previous catering experience in a nursing home setting or similar role an advantageStrong customer service skills, awareness & sensitivity towards residentsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHACCP training would be a distinct advantageCandidate must be available for some weekend shiftsHave the ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiativeHave the ability to multitask in a fast face working environmentWhy work for us?Teamwork and excellent provision of care are our trademarks.
