This individual works within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, software engineers, and QA analysts to implement, maintain, and support integration features that enable customers to seamlessly connect and exchange enterprise data across our solutions. The role requires hands-on involvement in troubleshooting, operational support, and continuous improvement of integration workflows, in addition to feature development. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of software technologies such as Java, SQL and iPaaS frameworks, and brings strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Clear communication and a customer-support mindset are essential for collaborating with internal teams and ensuring reliable, high-quality integration experiences for our customers.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesBecome an expert in all VelocityEHS Integrations CoE offerings and solutionsPerform other related duties as assigned by the Manager of Software Development and the VP of TechnologyProvide L1/L2 technical support for applications and integrations, including monitoring, incident triage, and issue resolutionAnalyze and troubleshoot data issues using SQL queries and logsOperate and maintain standard support tools (ticketing systems, monitoring dashboards, job schedulers)Support file-based and API-based integrations by validating data, rerunning jobs, and identifying failuresCommunicate clearly with internal teams and customers regarding incidents, status updates, and resolutionsFollow documented runbooks and contribute to improving support documentation and knowledge baseWork closely with global development, QA, and operations teams in an Agile/Scrum environmentEscalate complex issues to engineering teams with clear analysis and reproduction stepsCompleting delegated tasks, maintaining strict adherence to product roadmap scheduleUpdating Manager and teammates with necessary information to achieve end goalsMinimum Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s or College Degree in Computer Science, Programming or a related field (or equivalent work experience)2+ years codingAbility to debug and solve complex data problemsSuperior oral and written communication skillsAbility to work outside standard hours for special projectsExperience working with multidisciplinary teams including product managers, software developers, and QA analystsHigh attention to detailSuperb critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills and Qualifications2+ year’s knowledge of Java1+ year’s knowledge of RESTful APIs, Batch data processing1+ year’s knowledge of SQL database1+ year’s knowledge of Software Testing a plus1+ year’s knowledge of IPAAS Testing a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write supporting technical documentationAttention to detail and excellent time management skillsPassionate and intimately knowledgeable about all things integrations and dataFlexible and able to work within established branding and product specsVelocityEHS is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices by offering market-based salary ranges. The range for this position is between €47,100 and €58,450 (EURO). We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range and offers at the maximum of the range are uncommon. The final offered salary will be based on candidate’s proficiency in skill set, prior relevant experience, internal equity, market considerations, and other factors.
