Technical Sales Engineer
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a key role in delivering tailored wastewater solutions, supporting customers, and contributing to the success of our innovative product range. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, building strong client relationships, applying technical knowledge to real‑world challenges, and is motivated by helping customers meet environmental and regulatory requirements.
Location: Head Office in Killarney, Co. Kerry. This role reports directly to the Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities

Communicate with existing clients and explore new opportunities for technical solutions.
Create and deliver CPDs across Tricel’s technical solution portfolio to industry professionals.
Explain and present the company’s profile, scope of work, supply, and capabilities to new clients and present submitted offers.
Perform site visits to investigate requirements and collect data.
Estimate and forecast market demand for company products, coordinating with supply chain and stock.
Negotiate prices and commercial terms with clients.
Evaluate competition in the market to develop points of strength and weakness in Tricel’s pricing structure and increase winning chances.
Employ CRM (HubSpot) to track projects and collaborate internally.
Project manage delivery and installation of technical solutions where required.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Experience as a sales or engineering professional in the field of water/wastewater treatment products.
High communication skills and good command of English, both spoken and written.
Professional appearance.
Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
Determined, persistent, and self‑motivated.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, with effective reporting and presenting capabilities.
Team player and collaborator.
Eager to learn and develop tools and skills.
Valid driving licence.
