About the Role:
The role of a Mechanical Production Specialist involves contributing to production efficiency by monitoring equipment performance, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor real-time machine performance to optimize output.
* Install, maintain, and support production equipment.
* Collaborate on preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize yield performance.
* Provide technical reports on process issues.
* Analyze process capability and identify corrective actions.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
* National Qualification in Engineering or equivalent degree level (Electronic/Mechanical/Industrial).
* Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
* Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in automation technologies (Robotics/PLCs/Pneumatics etc.).
* A strong focus on compliance and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with lean practices and process capability analysis.
* Understanding of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
