Flannery's Nursing Home is in search of a caring and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will report to the Person in Charge, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Assistant Director of Nursing, contributing significantly to the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing assistance to residents with their daily routines, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Monitoring residents' health indicators and promptly communicating any changes to the medical team.
* Upholding a hygienic and supportive environment for residents.
* Engaging residents in social activities and fostering a sense of community within the facility.
* Collaborating seamlessly with the nursing staff to maintain high standards of care.
* Adhering to all healthcare protocols and standards to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
Qualifications:
* Possession of a FETAC Level 5 qualification is preferred.
* While prior experience in healthcare is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement.
* Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care.
* Ability to work harmoniously a team setting.
