Your new role
As Site Agent, you will take ownership of specific work packages within a major civil engineering project. You'll oversee daily site operations, coordinate with engineers, foremen, and subcontractors, and ensure that all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll also support the Project Manager in achieving successful project outcomes and lead site meetings, manage documentation, and uphold quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily site activities and specific project packages
* Maximise commercial performance and ensure defect-free delivery
* Coordinate site teams and subcontractors
* Produce and implement programmes, RAMS, method statements, and ITPs
* Lead daily whiteboard meetings and contribute to planning and procurement
* Prepare monthly progress reports for senior management and clients
What you'll need to succeed
* A third-level qualification in Engineering or Construction Management
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Agent or Senior Engineer role
* Proven experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
* Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Project, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* Ability to challenge designs and resolve issues effectively
