As the Head of Business Finance Partner for Ireland, supporting the Risk & Broking business areas, you will play a pivotal role in guiding commercial decision-making, managing financial performance, and shaping future business strategies. This role is part of the Ireland & Nordics cluster and reports directly to the Cluster Head of Business Finance Partner. Using relevant financial knowledge, the Finance Business Partner will provide financial analysis and advice to the business, focusing on both historical and forward-looking information. The role will be based in Dublin and requires a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
The Role:
As a strategic finance partner, you will:
* Collaborate with business leaders to support strategic initiatives and commercial decisions.
* Lead financial planning activities, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
* Manage month-end processes with a focus on revenue recognition and performance analysis.
* Prepare and deliver insightful monthly management reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior year.
* Review and manage expense accruals, prepayments, and revenue deferrals.
* Develop financial models to support ongoing business projects and future planning.
* Provide forward-looking financial insights to influence business strategy.
Support the Financial Reporting & Control Team by:
* Contributing to month-end reporting processes, including revenue and investment tracking.
* Communicating business developments, risks, and opportunities.
* Strengthening collaboration with the Mumbai finance team, including task review and relationship development.
