Supermarket Duty Manager – West Dublin Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supermarket Duty Manager to join our client's store in West Dublin.
In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the supermarket industry.
Salary: €40k plus bonus Responsibilities: Oversee the opening and closing of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company procedures Supervise and coordinate the activities of department managers and staff, providing guidance and support as needed Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, adhering to health and safety standards Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to always provide excellent customer service Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment Requirements: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and customer service abilities Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniques Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
