Full time Experienced Account assistant required for financial services company in Kilkenny city (On-site). Immediate start.This role will report into the Financial Controller.Duties of the role will include:Maintain and record day-to-day financial transactions including sales and purchasesAccounts Payable: Posting invoices, recording payments and reconciliationAccounts Receivable: Allocation of receipts and investigating outstanding balancesCashflow reportingPreparing Payroll and resolving related queriesAssisting with month end proceduresEnsure that all key business reconciliations are carried out in a timely fashionAssisting with statutory accountsAdditional support to operation's team as requiredAd hoc financial analysisAvailable to assist in ad hoc projectsRequirements:3+ years (post qualification) accounts experience within a similar roleThe ideal candidate would be part qualified accountant, experienced bookkeeper, or accounting technician levelTeam playerStrong numerical and analytical skillsAbility to communicate well with others – oral and writtenExcellent Microsoft Excel skillsStrong IT skills and experience using accounting software (Sage, Thesaurus etc.)Ability to work under pressure and adhere to month end deadlinesTakes own initiativeAbility to multitask and work accurately and effectivelyKnowledge of the financial services industry an advantage
