Job Role:
Safetynet Primary Care is seeking a highly skilled Medical Administrator to support our operations in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing appointments, dealing with patient queries, monitoring and actioning incoming emails and phone calls, updating clinic spreadsheets, and collaborating with the medical admin team.
About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing appointments for GP and nurse clinics.
* Dealing with patient queries in a friendly and professional manner – providing excellent customer service is of paramount importance.
* Monitoring and actioning incoming emails and phone calls, ensuring queries are followed up with the relevant staff.
* Updating clinic spreadsheets and reporting activity to the Senior Management Team (SMT).
* Managing the digital and paper filing system efficiently.
* Collaborating with the medical admin team to ensure shared tasks are completed.
* Working closely with the team of nurses and GPs to provide a first-class service to patients.
Requirements:
* 2+ years' experience in a medical administration role or 3 years in a general administration role.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills.
* Excellent IT skills – must be highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Desirable: previous use in Practice Management Software.
* Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, with proven ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload in a demand-driven environment.
* Capable of managing multiple responsibilities concurrently, even under high-pressure conditions.
