* Socruithe Seirbhíse Córais Amach Anseo: Mar chuid den tionscadal seo tá socruithe nua á bhforbairt chun Seirbhísí Córais nuálaíochta a sholáthar a bheidh fíorthábhachtach agus athrú oibríochtúil á chur i bhfeidhm chun ligean d'fheidhmiú an chóais chumhachta le leibhéil níos airde teicneolaíochta ísealcharbóin agus chun ár spriocanna inathnuaite a bhaint amach do 2030.

Chomh maith leis na tionscadail seo, cuireann an fhoireann ceannaireacht smaointeoireachta agus comhairle ar fáil don chuid eile den ghnó maidir le hathruithe tábhachtacha margaidh a theastaíonn chun tacú le spriocanna an rialtais 80% de RES-E a bhaint amach faoi 2030 agus díriú ar athruithe margaidh le bheith neodrach ó thaobh carbóin de.

I measc phríomhghnéithe an róil seo tá:
* A chinntiú go bhfuil na páirtithe leasmhara inmheánacha agus seachtracha uile ullmhaithe go hiomlán do chur i bhfeidhm na gclár Sceidealaithe & Seolta agus FASS.
* Beidh an ról seo i gceannas ar phleanáil ullmhachta, rannpháirtíocht agus gníomhaíochtaí cumarsáide chun tacú le cláir a chur i gcrích agus a ghlacadh go rathúil.
* Sruthanna oibre le haghaidh Socruithe Margaidh & Ullmhachta laistigh de na cláir éagsúla de réir mar a fhorbraíonn siad chun dearadh agus cur chun feidhme éifeachtach tionscnamh éagsúil a chinntiú laistigh d'amlínte sainithe;
* Plean ullmhachta cuimsitheach do pháirtithe leasmhara a fhorbairt agus a chur i gcrích le haghaidh cláir Sceidealaithe & Seolta agus FASS.
* Príomhghrúpaí páirtithe leasmhara a shainaithint (foirne inmheánacha, rannpháirtithe sa mhargadh, rialtóirí, soláthraithe seirbhíse) agus measúnú a dhéanamh ar bhearnaí ullmhachta.
* Ceardlanna, seisiúin oiliúna agus cumarsáid a chomhordú chun a chinntiú go dtuigeann na páirtithe leasmhara tionchair, amlínte agus riachtanais an chláir.
* Oibriú go dlúth le cláir eile m.sh. Bainistíocht Clár, Cumas Oibríochtúil, Seachadadh Córas chun cur chuige comhordaithe agus éifeachtúil a chinntiú maidir le tionscnaimh na Margaí Cumhachta Amach Anseo a sheachadadh;
* Teagmháil a dhéanamh le húdaráis rialála agus le páirtithe leasmhara tionscail; páirt a ghlacadh i gceardlanna tionscail, i gcuir i láthair agus i gcruinnithe eile le páirtithe leasmhara de réir mar is gá; páipéir/aighneachtaí a ullmhú do na húdaráis rialála;
* Oibriú go dlúth le príomhoifigí eile ar fud Ghrúpa EirGrid, go háirithe an Phríomh-Oifig Oibríochtaí, chun tionscnaimh na Margaí Cumhachta Amach Anseo a chur chun cinn de réir amlínte sainithe;

Job Purpose
The Future Markets team is responsible for providing thought leadership in relation to market changes needed to deliver on the renewable electricity targets and is also responsible for delivering large programmes of work to deliver on changes approved by the regulatory authorities.
The team is currently delivering a number of key projects including;
* Future System Service Arrangements: This project is developing new arrangements for the procurement of innovative System Services which will be vital in facilitating operational change which will allow the power system to be operated with increasingly high levels of low carbon technologies and in achieving our 2030 renewables targets;
* Scheduling and Dispatch: This project is developing design changes to our core market and operational systems to deliver on changes associated with the treatment of non-priority dispatch renewables defined in the Clean Energy Package, making improvements on wind dispatch, and updates to scheduling and dispatch process to incorporate new energy storage solutions, low carbon sources of inertia, and the provision of reserves and systems services from new technologies.
* European Integration: Since Brexit the all-island electricity market is no longer integrated with the EU. Once the Celtic Interconnector goes live, we will be connected to the Continental Europe Synchronous Area and this will require significant market changes.
* SEM-GB: The SEM market is interconnected with the GB market. Work is ongoing to develop post-Brexit arrangements which includes monitoring of and acting on changes to the structure of the GB markets.
* Competitive market transition to Net Zero: Support the development of electricity policy in achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, in conjunction with the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) and Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE).
In addition to these projects the team delivers thought leadership and advice to the rest of the business around key market changes needed to support the government targets of getting 80% of RES-E by 2030 and also a focus on market changes to deliver on net carbon zero.

Key Responsibilities
The Future Markets team is a dynamic team which has been set up to deliver a multi-year Programme of work. The team's function is to deliver key modifications required for EirGrid's systems and processes to ensure compliance with EU legislation as set out in CEP Regulation 2019/943 Articles 12 & 13 and to support the delivery of Ireland's climate action and renewables targets. Key features of this role are to:
* To ensure all internal and external stakeholders are fully prepared for the implementation of the Scheduling & Dispatch and FASS programmes.
* This role will lead readiness planning, engagement, and communication activities to support successful programme delivery and adoption.
* Central & Market Arrangements and Readiness workstreams within the different programmes as they evolve to ensure effective design and implementation of various initiatives within defined timelines;
* Develop and execute a comprehensive stakeholder readiness plan for Scheduling & Dispatch and FASS programmes.
* Identify key stakeholder groups (internal teams, market participants, regulators, service providers) and assess readiness gaps.
* Coordinate workshops, training sessions, and communications to ensure stakeholders understand programme impacts, timelines, and requirements.
* Work closely with other programmes e.g. Programme Management, Operational Capability, Systems Delivery to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to delivery of Future Power Markets initiatives;
* Engage with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders; contribute to industry workshops, presentations and other stakeholder meetings as required; prepare papers/submissions for the regulatory authorities;
* Work closely with other chief offices across EirGrid Group, particularly the Chief Operations Office, to progress Future Power Markets initiatives according to defined timelines;
* Define readiness criteria and metrics aligned with programme milestones;
* Conduct readiness assessments and report progress to programme governance boards;
* Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Relevant third level degree with some power system industry and electricity market expertise and experience; with 6 years post-degree experience.
* Strong experience in programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and change management within energy markets or large-scale operational programmes.
* Problem solving and analysis skills;
* Good communication skills to articulate complex technical and market concepts;
* Experienced in writing and presenting technical reports;
* Good organisational skills, commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering excellence and results, such as process improvement, change management and the automation of routine tasks;
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups.
* Experienced in supporting effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience;
* Flexibility and agility to manage a wide range of issues at the same time;
* Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
