Ciallaíonn sé sin go bhfuilimid bródúil as an bhfreagracht a ghlacadh as ár soláthar uisce a chosaint agus córas sábháilte uisce a chur ar aghaidh chuig daonra atá ag fás go tapa agus fás sóisialta agus eacnamaíoch na hÉireann a chumhachtú.Táimid paiseanta faoi chumhacht a thabhairt dár ndaoine, iad a chumasú tionchar dearfach a bheith acu ar phobail ar fud na hÉireann. Tugann an réimse spreagadh don infheistíocht agus do chlár na hInbhuanaitheachta agus na Nuálaíochta don eagraíocht agus glacann sé ceannaireacht ar ghníomhaíochtaí um Rialú Timpeallachta agus Comhlíontachta, a chinntíonn go ndéantar monatóireacht leanúnach ar cháilíocht an uisce agus ar an bhfuíolluisce. Tá an fheidhm Bainistíochta Sócmhainní freagrach as pleanáil straitéiseach, beartuithe tosaíochta agus forbairt a dhéanamh ar phíblíne Oibreacha Caipitil Uisce Éireann. Tá ról lárnach ag an bhfeidhm i gcomhoibriú agus comheagar gníomhaíochtaí a chur chun cinn thar na trí fheidhm sócmhainne mar aon le measúnuithe timpeallachta agus saineolas bainistíochta a sholáthar thar Uisce Éireann. Is í freagracht na Foirne Straitéise Sócmhainní pleananna straitéiseacha a fhorbairt do na sócmhainní uisce, fuíolluisce agus nádúrtha go léir agus údarú an bhoinn sócmhainní a chinntiú. Clúdaítear i raon feidhme fhreagracht na foirne 5 phríomhréimse: straitéis chomhshaoil, straitéis sócmhainní uisce, straitéis sócmhainní fuíolluisce, pleanáil chun cinn agus straitéis phleanála.Agus é/í freagrach don Bhainisteoir Straitéise Sócmhainní Uisce, tá an Bainisteoir ar an bPlean Náisiúnta Straitéiseach freagrach as forbairt agus bainistíocht straitéisí soláthair uisce lena n-éascaítear soláthar sábháilte inbhuanaithe uisce chun freastal ar riachtanais phleanáilte agus ar chaighdeáin fóinteachta ina réigiúin shannta. The area drives investment and the Sustainability and Innovation agenda for the organisation and leads on Environmental Regulation and Compliance activities, ensuring the quality of water and wastewater is continuously monitored. The Asset Management function is responsible for strategic planning, prioritisation, and development of Uisce Éireann's Capital Works pipeline. The function plays a key role in promoting collaboration and co-ordination of activities across the three asset functions as well as providing environmental assessment and management expertise across Uisce Éireann.The Asset Strategy Team responsibility is to develop strategic plans for all water, wastewater and natural assets and to ensure the authorisation of the asset base. The scope of the team's responsibility covers 5 main areas: environmental strategy, water asset strategy, wastewater asset strategy, forward planning and planning strategy.Reporting to the Water Asset Strategy Manager, The National Strategic Plan Manager is responsible for development and management of water supply strategies that enable a safe and sustainable supply of water to meet planned needs and serviceability standards in their assigned regions. The role holder also supports the investment planning process in their respective regions to ensure a balanced approach between source capacity, leakage management and a secure delivery from "source to tap".Main Duties and Responsibilities:Forecast short-term and long-term water supply and demand and impact on water supply strategies, providing a key input into Water Strategy business planningManage the development and application of the agreed methodology governing the assessment of alternative policies and establishing the anticipated levels of performance, cost, risk etc.Develop key inputs into the overall water strategy including Water Resources Management Plan, Water Supply Resilience Strategy, Water Framework Directives Strategy, abstraction planning, strategic water storage and network connectivityDevelop and maintain the asset standards and asset risk management framework in assigned regionsDevelop strategies for Abstraction Licencing and Dam Safety.Manage the introduction of new assets and technology into the asset base within assigned regionsInterpret and analyse water use data to see if the previously set goals are met and to inform Demand Management programmes impacting both Operations and CustomerLiaise with the Technical Standards Specialist and Policies team to drive the development of new or revised resource management programmes Liaise with Information and Reporting Solutions team to develop and receive required reporting to enable water strategy developmentLiaise with Water Networks and the Connections and Developer Services team to facilitate growth within the network and provide technical assistance as may be required to address extensions, strategic reinforcements, and large developments Oversee the design of risk control measuresManage asset information including the development and management of the information strategy, including onboarding of region data transfer and supporting region based asset strategy and information capabilitiesEnsure appropriate data governance and manage data provisions Demonstrate a clear understanding of Asset Strategy trends in Uisce Éireann, identify improvement projects to support continuous improvement and ensure our monitoring and reporting processes are efficient and effectiveActively research and seek industry best practice, providing feedback on latest industry developments via company-wide reports and presentationsPerform other such duties in relation to work and asset management as Uisce Éireann may reasonably requireGeneral Duties and Responsibilities Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ businessResponsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standardsSupport the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectivesConducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with Uisce Éireann's Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UÉ business information and delivery of critical services, in accordance with the NIS Directive and any other relevant cybersecurity regulationOther duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Experience:Relevant third level qualification and or accreditation is desirable and or relevant experienceA minimum of 7 years' Experience in the water, utilities or similar industries is desirableExperience in leading teams to deliver customer strategies that enhance customer serviceAbility to enable positive teamwork across departments and encourage cooperation and open discusson to achieve common goalsDemonstrated experience influencing an environment of open, honest communication while upholding high ethical standards.
