Role Description
This is an on-site full-time position located in Gorey for the role of General Manager at Custom Compost, part of the Walsh Mushrooms Group.
The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities include managing team performance, optimizing business processes, meeting production goals, monitoring quality standards, and aligning operations with company objectives.
The role will also entail liaising with stakeholders and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivating and guiding teams
Experience in production and operations management, process optimization, and implementing best practices
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
Knowledge or experience in the agriculture/ horticulture industry is highly advantageous
