Our client is hiring a Strategic Planning & Operations Manager.
This role supports External Supply Operations by leading NPIs, managing product transfers to external manufacturing partners, and improving processes for site selection, launches, and technical transfers. The role drives cross-functional collaboration, delivers key project milestones, aligns external suppliers with internal processes, and identifies opportunities to improve operational performance. The manager leads multiple NPIs and initiatives that support External Supply Operations goals and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead new product introduction (NPI) and technical transfer activities for products launching or transferring into CMOs.
* Provide strategic project leadership for external manufacturing transfers, coordinating cross-functional teams across Quality, Process Development, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Contracts, and Analytical Sciences.
* Manage multiple medium- to high-complexity projects, ensuring adherence to NPI/PSM processes, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and operating models.
* Develop and maintain project plans, manage risks and scope changes, allocate resources, and communicate progress, issues, and results to executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and alignment with organizational priorities using project management and operational excellence principles.
Key Requirements:
* 6 years experience in a cGMP manufacturing or quality environment.
* Strong organizational and cross-functional project management skills with experience operating in matrix organizations.
* Solid technical background with knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercialization, and cGMP requirements.
* Proven ability to deliver results, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities with accountability.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, including technical writing and confident engagement with senior management and customers.
* Understanding of contractual requirements and experience influencing stakeholders across multiple levels.
