Engineering @365 is working with a leading construction company that offers end-to-end design, manufacturing and installation services, delivering high quality concrete facades. The company are now looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Ireland.
About the Role:
This role supports the full commercial lifecycle of projects, from pre-contract stages to final account. You will be involved in measurement, procurement, budgeting, contract administration and reporting, requiring strong commercial awareness and the ability to interpret drawings and 3D models.
Working alongside project and commercial teams, you will manage subcontract and supplier agreements, prepare valuations, advise on contractual matters, and help identify risks and opportunities. You will also contribute to upholding high Health, Safety and Environmental standards across all commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse sub-contract agreements and support the preparation of new commercial documentation.
* Produce cost plans, undertake measurement activities and assist with procurement of packages.
* Prepare commercial reports for internal review and client presentations.
* Maintain detailed project records and ensure all reporting is completed on time.
* Provide contract administration support, including monthly valuations and supply-chain management.
* Support identification of commercial risks, opportunities and contractual obligations.
* Work confidently with construction drawings, specifications and 3D models.
* Review costs against budgets and issue updates promptly to key stakeholders.
* Contribute to maintaining high standards of HSE compliance within commercial operations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, accredited by RICS, CIOB or IEI.
* Minimum five years’ experience in a similar commercial role within construction or manufacturing.
* Good understanding of construction contracts, subcontract management and industry best practice.
* Competent in interpreting drawings, models and technical data.
