Overview
Spectrum is seeking a Full or Part Time Podiatrist to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in our clinics in Dublin. We welcome applicants from the UK who are looking for relocation opportunities to Dublin.
Role and Compensation
The FTE for this role is €45,000-€75,000 per annum, with potential earnings of up to € apply with commission. Responsibilities
* Treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., verrucae, corns, calluses)
* Assess and treat ingrown toenails, perform nail clipping and foot care
* Provide preventative care for patients with diabetes at risk of foot disease
* Assess and diagnose conditions of the feet, ankles, or lower legs through history taking and physical examinations
* Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems and provide treatments
* Prescribe orthotics and other treatments to improve foot/ankle function
* Educate patients on foot and ankle care and general wellness
* Refer to other healthcare professionals when appropriate and liaise with GP’s, Physios and other team members
* Maintain CPD records and write patient case notes and reports
* Manage stock orders and logistics; supervise student and junior podiatrists where applicable
* Contribute to clinical risk management and infection control
* Provide patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion
* Assist with creating blogs/content for social media and marketing channels
* Collaborate with the marketing team to gather feedback
Experience and Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Podiatry (essential)
* Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland (SCPI) (essential)
* Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
