Site Supervisor / Working Foreman (Structural Steel) Talent Curve Recruitment is managing a search for a hands-on Site Supervisor / Working Foreman on behalf of a leading steel fabrication and industrial engineering specialist covering Co. Cavan, Leitrim, Longford & Roscommon. This permanent role is ideal for a practical, self-motivated leader who can run installations independently, coordinate a mobile site crew, and maintain excellent client relationships. Core Responsibilities Site Leadership: Direct and work alongside a mobile site crew to deliver structural steel and mechanical installations safely. Steel Installation: Oversee and assist with on-site structural steelwork (access platforms, stairways, walkways, handrails). Industrial Maintenance: Lead mechanical installations, machinery positioning, and welding repairs during planned factory shutdowns. Crew & Job Management: Plan daily tasks, manage tools/materials, and travel to client sites with the team in the company van. HSE Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to site safety standards, RAMS, and company policies. Candidate Profile Experience: Proven supervisory background leading site-based structural steel or industrial mechanical installations. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in steel fabrication, mechanical fitting, and MIG / Stick (Arc) welding for on-site repairs. Drawings: Excellent ability to interpret complex technical drawings and structural specifications. Attributes: Decisive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a practical work ethic. Logistics: Full, clean Irish/EU driving licence. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: €50,000 €50,000+ per annum (Negotiable based on experience). Work Vehicle: Company van provided for regional site travel and crew transport.
