Syntec Scientific is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team based in Dublin. This role involves servicing medical and scientific equipment across hospitals, universities, and diagnostic laboratories throughout Ireland. The Role Install, maintain, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on medical and scientific equipment. Diagnose and repair issues with installed equipment in the field. Respond promptly to breakdowns and service calls. Organise work efficiently and complete reports using electronic devices. Requirements Third-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. +5 years field service experience preferred, with a proven track record in repairing equipment on-site. Ability to work independently and manage your schedule. Strong problem-solving skills. Previous experience in medical and scientific equipment repair preferred. Self-motivated and customer-service focused. Willingness to travel daily and occasionally internationally for manufacturer-certified training or service-related issues. Full clean driving licence required.
