Job Title: BIOMEDICAL SALES EXECUTIVE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Sales Executive to join our growing team. This dual-function position combines hands-on technical expertise with a commercial mindset to support both our service and sales functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting Electro Medical, Diagnostic, Monitoring and Defibrillator equipment, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across hospitals, HSE facilities and private healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
* Become technically proficient in the support of our Electro Medical, Diagnostic, Monitoring and Defibrillator equipment (full training provided).
* Identify potential sales opportunities while assisting in service calls and building client relationships.
* Collaborate closely with the Service team to promote and demonstrate our medical devices and service plans to healthcare professionals.
* Provide on-site technical support to hospitals, clinics and private practices, ensuring that all devices are functioning correctly and that medical personnel are confident in their operation.
* Develop and maintain proficiency in the proprietary software used by our medical devices, and train others in its operation and troubleshooting.
* Work with the Sales team to create tailored solutions for hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
* Partner with the Marketing team on promotional campaigns and new product launches.
* Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
* Maintain a good understanding of the local healthcare market and uncover new business opportunities (cross/up-selling) within hospitals and medical institutions.
* Create long-term partnerships with key decision-makers in the biomedical and cardiac departments within the hospital and professional healthcare environment.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Technology, Electronics or a related field.
* Sales or commercial experience within the Cardiac/medical technology sector is a strong advantage.
* Good technical documentation and reporting skills
* Willingness to travel for on-site service and customer meetings.
* Valid driver’s license.
This role is initially on-site at our premises in Limerick.
