Designing Infrastructure for the Future
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil BIM Designer to join our team in designing and constructing Amazon's data center facilities globally. As part of our highly creative and efficient CSA & Security BIM team, you will work on tackling fascinating and challenging problems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Industrial or Commercial Civil model and drawing production of critical facilities/Large industry, with 8+ years of cumulative experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. Additionally, they should have strong ownership of projects working with multi-discipline teams in a structural coordination role.
Key responsibilities include executing/maintaining Architectural, Civil, Structural (ACS) BIM models, creating concept designs based on existing AWS templates, reviewing consultants' structural and civil models, ensuring information models meet AWS standards, and providing guidance on AWS requirements.
A day in the life of our BIM Designers involves creating/maintaining AWS ACS templates, partnering with consultants on projects, guiding and overseeing processes to produce CD deliverables, and ensuring ACS consultants adhere to AWS BIM standards. This role enables our BIM Designers to partner with the AWS Real Estate team to carry out site masterplan schemes to enable the most suitable sites.

Required skills and qualifications:
* 8+ years of cumulative experience in Industrial or Commercial Civil model and drawing production of critical facilities/Large industry.
* 8+ years experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
* 5+ years experience working with multi-discipline teams in a structural coordination role.
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering with familiarity with EMEA or APAC building codes is preferred. Understanding of mechanical and electrical services in data centers, as well as experience directly related to Data Center design and construction, is also desirable.
