We are seeking enthusiastic professionals to support adults in intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, assisting with independent living skills and integration into the community.
Job Description
This role involves working with individuals who require support with daily living tasks and personal care. You will be responsible for providing person-centred care and planning, ensuring the ongoing needs of the individuals supported are met.
You will also work as part of a team to develop and implement individual plans, promoting independence and community participation.

Requirements:
* FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or similar qualification
* One year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
* Working knowledge of HIQA regulations and experience adhering to National Standard policies
* Experience and understanding of person-centred care and planning
* An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
* An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported
* Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
* Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
* A full driver's license and availability of own car is an essential requirement
