Job Title: Civil/Architectural Designer Engineer – Public Lighting Projects
This role will be predominately office based with opportunity to work remotely.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil/Architectural Designer Engineer to support the design and documentation of civil works and reinstatement plans for public lighting projects across 200 real estate sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D drawings, taking off quantities for BOQs, and ensuring alignment with project timelines. An induction will be provided at the start of the project for all steps needed.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed 2D drawings for civil works and reinstatement using AutoCAD.
* Take off quantities and assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
* Work independently to meet project milestones and follow the established program.
* Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and compliant with project standards.
* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues.
* Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
Education
· Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Degree
· Road opening license Basic course is desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in design or drafting.
Experience in residential or housing development projects is a plus.
Experience with road opening licences is desirable.
Experience with bill of quantities and budget in civils works.
Experience in utilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
Experience with civil works and house development projects is desirable.
