Job Description
We are seeking a Mid-level Robotics Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering automation solutions. The engineer will work independently under the guidance of the Lead Engineer to complete projects of moderate scope and complexity, support broader engineering activities, and potentially guide entry-level engineers. Responsibilities include:
1. Design, develop, and support automation solutions following industry standards.
2. Install, commission, qualify, and support automation systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to automation.
4. Identify and mitigate risks.
5. Document processes, configurations, and system changes in GXP environments.
6. Maintain project documentation such as BOMs, design specs, and drawings.
7. Create and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
8. Guide other engineers on best practices and standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
* Preferred certifications in automation platforms.
* Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Required Skills
* Strong understanding of engineering principles in at least three areas such as mechanical design, electrical design, robotics, control systems, data systems, machine vision, software development, or validation.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and independent working skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage risks effectively.

A Typical Day
* Select robotic components and configurations based on safety and system requirements.
* Perform calculations and simulations for load, cycle time, and reach.
* Design system layouts and verify via RoboDK simulations.
* Program robots and teach waypoints for system integration.
* Specify communication protocols and wiring.
* Develop testing plans to ensure safety and performance.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for system integration.
* Support machine vision solutions and maintain documentation throughout the lifecycle.
