Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Coordinator to manage the day-to-day activities of a large construction project in Kerry. This role will last approximately 2 years and involves coordinating site operations, supervising staff, and collaborating with engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop daily and weekly work plans aligned with the project program.
* Coordinate plant, labor, and material requirements to avoid delays.
* Sequence operations efficiently, including excavation, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours.
* Plan plant movement and manage access routes to prevent site congestion.
* Allocate tasks to the workforce, ensuring optimal productivity.
* Manage and maintain plant usage logs and ensure efficient deployment.
* Ensure works are carried out to the required design specifications and standards.
* Ensure compliance with RAMS and site-specific safety requirements.
* Maintain daily site diaries, capturing work progress, workforce levels, and plant usage.
* Record concrete pour details, including delivery times and batch information.
* Report any delays, issues, or design conflicts to the Project Manager.
* Track and log variations for commercial reporting to the Project Manager & QS.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in site management or a related field.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
