Aviation Operations Officer - Handling

General Summary:
This position acts as the Company representative and understands all aspects of ground handling including both customer service and ramp. Responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks most of which are associated with aircraft ground handling or the support of a flight. This position is responsible for working with a variety of government agents, vendors, customers and other cross-functional employees. This position is responsible for making sure that all services of ground handling are provided in a manner consistent with standard operating procedures and compliance standards. This position can perform all the duties of Lead Ramp Agent and Sr. Customer Service Agent.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrates excellent customer service even under stressful circumstances
2. Understands all Customs / Immigration requirements
3. Understands all aspects of entry requirements.
4. Has demonstrated all aspects of catering, lavatory service, refueling, transportation and hotel accommodation.
5. Understands all requirements associated with Aircraft arrival and departure paperwork
6. Can provide full aircraft ground handling service
7. Demonstrate appropriate discretion and informal leadership abilities. Sets a good example for other team members.
8. Can perform essentially any other duty that may reasonably be requested by the company or a client.
9. Aircraft lavatory Servicing in addition to the use of other aircraft Ground Support Equipment
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
* High School or equivalent required
* 4-5 years' experience an advantage in both ramp operations and customer service.
* Must possess valid European driver's license.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) at a basic level
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
* Significant internal and external customer service skills required
* Able to communicate effectively in high stress environments
* Exhibit strong positive teamwork attributes; loyalty to the Company and to fellow employees, must have a professional demeanor and appearance, strong work ethic, and willingness to embrace change.
* Must be willing to work outside during inclement weather
Working Conditions:
Universal Aviation Dublin is busy 24/7 operation with an unpredictable workload. As a result, this role requires some flexibility and may require occasional overtime.
