We have exciting opportunities forStaff NursesTo join our Residential/Respite Services*POSITIONS AVAILABLE:Residential/Respite*- Permanent Full-time (37.5 hrs per week Monday to Sunday)*You Are:*A dynamic and energetic team player with a passion for working with children/young people with intellectual disabilities. You are familiar with best practices in Nursing Care and apply these consistently in your work.*We Are:*St. Catherines Association is a non-profit organisation and registered charity funded by the HSE that provides health related supports to children and young adults with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities and autism in the Wicklow area. These services include Respite and Short Break Support Services, Adult Day Services and Residential Services and access to clinical supports through referral to Childrens Disability Network Team.*Job Role:*Deliver nursing care based on the assessed needs of the individual and develop agreed care plans.Promote health and wellbeing in the individuals we support.Monitor the health and wellbeing of the individual using nursing assessment tools where appropriate.Provide evidence based Nursing Care.Assist in the development of Individual Programmes of personal and social development for each individual so as to ensure the highest quality and effective service.Liaise with the families and other agencies involved in the individuals care, as appropriate.Reports to: Residential/Respite Services Manager or Adult Day Services Manager.*Essential:*Registration with NMBIEither RNID,RGN or RCN qualification.Evidence of Continued Professional DevelopmentAn interest in working with individuals who have Intellectual DisabilitiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamFull flexibility and reliabilityKnowledge of HIQA/New Directions*Desirable:*Knowledge and previous experience in Clinical Care areas such as Enteral Feeding, Medication Management and Epilepsy ManagementExperience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and medical needs*Benefits:*HSE Consolidated Pay ScalesNational Federation Voluntary Bodies Pension SchemeEmployee Wellbeing InitiativesRefer a Friend SchemeChristmas Savings ClubExcellent training opportunitiesStaff Education Loans and Paid Study LeaveBike to Work SchemeEnhanced Annual LeavePaid Maternity and Adoptive Leave * eligibility criteriaSick Pay Scheme * eligibility criteriaClosing Date:5pm Thursday 5th February 2026.*Skills:*Nursing Person centred care Intellectual Disability*Benefits:*Pension Fund Flexible Working HSE payscale
