Job description

To support the Parts and Warehouse function in the supply of parts to the Workshop, driving improvements in working efficiencies and Customer Service Levels, through proactive planning and communication with the Service Team on Workshop repairs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Workshop:

1. Provide a timely and efficient parts delivery process for all workshop repairs (planned/unplanned), liaising with workshop personnel as required
2. Perform routine checks for parts supply on all workshop jobs
3. Ensure a fast, efficient & accurate delivery of components to relevant jobs in the Workshop
4. Pre- Picking of parts and order planning for Workshop jobs
5. Prepare and process all parts related documentation
6. Liaising with suppliers for ordering non-Volvo parts.
7. Ensuring job cards contain correct parts information ready for the admin team to invoice, and in a timely fashion.
8. Prepare & provide quotes (pricing of parts) for Workshop job
9. Execute the Warranty Returns process & Working within the Volvo returns policy (DCR)
10. Assist with the management and control of all Workshop related parts administration
11. Manage and co-ordinate the supply of special tools/consumables to Technicians
12. Ensure pallets are stacked and strapped for returns to be carried out

Warehouse:

13. Coordination of deliveries
14. Allocation of stock
15. Control of Parts stock

General:

16. Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times
17. Cover front counter parts sales and telesales as and when required
18. Maintain high standards of general housekeeping in the Warehouse & Workshop areas
19. Adhere to correct working procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to the Depot Manager
20. Report faulty facility / equipment promptly
21. Participate in training and development programs as required by the Company
22. Undertake any other duties or activities as required

Skills Profile:

23. Motor Trade experience
24. Technical knowledge of motor vehicles
25. Forklift licence
26. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints
27. Highly organised

Essential Requirements

41. Extensive knowledge of vehicle type and parts, HGV experience would be preferable.
42. Confident utilizing a computerized parts system
43. Experience of stock management and following parts processes with attention to detail.
44. Experience with handling warranty
45. An effective communicator with commitment to provide excellent customer service.
46. Organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative under pressure.
47. The ability to work efficiently as an individual but also as part of a team.

Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm / Saturdays 1 in 3 8 am to 12 midday /

Breakdown van support 1 in 3 covering full week

Payment for being on call and individual payment when called into the depot to pick parts for the breakdown.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €42,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
