The Team
This Senior Engineering position is in the Application and Infrastructure Security (AIS) Product Area within the Enterprise Cybersecurity business unit.
The AIS team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge tools, libraries, and solutions that support and validate the implementation of security measures by Fidelity's application development community, which comprises over 10,000 developers. As a team member, you will play a pivotal role in steering decisions, leading deployments, and crafting integrations with our current systems.
Our team consists of driven and committed individuals based in Galway and Dublin, collaborating in a dynamic, agile work environment.
The Expertise You Have
* Hands-on experience with automation and pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline).
* Experience with application security tools and protocols such as SCA, SAST, DAST, API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC), and Authentication/Authorization protocols (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT) is a plus.
* Understanding of secure coding practices.
* Working experience with cloud environments, preferably with AWS certification.
* Experience with data processes (ETL, ELT, Data Modeling) and BI tools like PowerBi, Tableau, or similar, along with Oracle or equivalent RDBMS.

* Proven knowledge of engineering principles, patterns, and practices.
* Ability to design and develop tools/applications using technologies such as Unix Shell scripting, Java, Python, frameworks like Spring/SpringBoot, API frameworks (SOAP, REST), CI/CD tools (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, AWS CFT/CDK), and front-end frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React).
* Experience with modern agile engineering approaches and operational excellence.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and vendors.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills to work through ambiguous situations and make timely decisions.
* A passion for continual learning and mentorship.
