OverviewCREGG are hiring for a Facilities Engineer to join Galway’s world leading medical device manufacturing client. The successful candidate will have responsibility to manage all electrical issues across a 32acre production facility.Contact: Call Rachel on 0860127415 or email rachel@cregg.ie to discuss.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the maintenance of site electrical infrastructure using the computerized asset management system, in coordination with the system coordinator and on-site electrical maintenance team.Oversee maintenance of Life Safety systems (fire detection, fire suppression, emergency lighting) and Security systems through the computerized asset management system, collaborating with system coordinators, vendors, and on-site maintenance teams.Manage day-to-day operation of the security access control system, including approval of all access adds, moves, and deletions.Own and manage all electrical infrastructure change requests (Power, IT, Life Safety, and Security Systems), ensuring all changes are accurately captured in the computerized asset management system and reflected in site record drawings.Support the Facilities team by maintaining accurate asset information and conducting annual equipment condition assessments.Review and estimate project costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and associated expenses.EducationIdeally candidates will hold a Degree and have a strong electrical background (Electrician etc)Minimum 2years experience as Facilities Engineer
