On behalf of a European Renewable Energy firm, we are looking to hire a Data Analyst to join their Dublin team. Role:
1. Conduct comprehensive market analysis, gather data relating to the renewable energy market.
2. Provide modelling analysis, determine key modelling inputs/outputs and interpret their impacts.
3. Monitor and create modelling reports while identifying areas for system and business improvement while supporting new and long term operations in market forecasts.
4. Respond rapidly to business needs by providing ad-hoc business and analytical support.
Requirements
5. Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis, investigating trends and patterns using quantitative methods.
6. Demonstrated ability to collate and analyse a large volume of data and provide comprehensive insights.
7. A knowledge of coding programmes such as Python, R or VBA and data systems such as SQL.
8. Experience using data visualisation/reporting tools such as Power BI/Tableau or other business intelligence platforms
9. Proficient knowledge of European Energy markets is a distinct advantage.
