Wicklow, Y14 YT71, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands' leading Builders Providers and Home Improvement/DIY Store is looking for a full-time, Permanent Yard Operative / Forklift Driver to join our team.
Job Purpose: Responsible for the day-to-day running of the yard, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities: Manage yard staff and coordinate tasks.
Managing inventory of stock.
Ensure a clean and organised environment.
Inspect and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and safe to use.
Managing work schedules.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
Provide customer service for deliveries, collections and other yard related activities.
Train new hires on yard policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures.
Communicate regularly with yard staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements: Excellent attention to detail to identify hazards.
Full Counterbalance Forklift License.
Good leadership skills.
Computer skills.
Ability to operate machinery.
Full Driving License.
