As the Engineering Systems & Continuous Improvement Leader, reporting to the Engineering Leader, you will play a vital role within the Engineering Leadership Team. In this position, you will be responsible for optimizing and integrating engineering business processes across the site. You will ensure robust knowledge management and develop expertise for all key engineering systems, while championing continuous improvement and innovation.
You will also lead and contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive Engineering master plan. By fostering a culture of operational excellence and aligning strategies with site fundamentals, you will have a direct impact on enhancing performance, efficiency, and the long-term success of the site.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
Continuous Improvement: Responsible for implementing continuous improvement projects that aim to enhance performance, increase efficiency, and reduce the cost of goods. Work collaboratively with Engineering Teams (e.g., Plant and Integrated Facility Management), other site functions and the wider Engineering network to:
* Use a structured approach to prioritise and deliver improvement ideas using the CI Loops at the right levels across the site and department
* Avail of opportunities for simplification and replication from the wider network
* Align on the priority Engineering KPIs and metrics to drive Engineering system improvements
Site Strategy: Ensure Engineering is positioning itself for growth and opportunity by continually simplifying and reducing our activities. Focus site Engineering goals to ensure clear link to the site & PGS strategy. Understanding of site comparative performance by completing internal/external benchmarking activities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering teams—including Plant and Integrated Facility Management — as well as other site functions. Maintain strong coordination with Manufacturing, EHS, and Quality departments to support the effective integration of Maintenance Engineering processes. Lead and manage a diverse team by promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide clear direction and support to ensure team members accomplish their objectives and contribute to the overall success of the site.
Process Improvement: Foster innovation to drive continuous enhancement of processes, thereby increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of Engineering operations. Examples include, but are not limited to:
* Deliver Strategies for Asset Reliability Excellence by leveraging the Pfizer Asset Care Excellence (PACE) Program.
o Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain the Site Maintenance Master Plan (MMP). Ensure that master planning is comprehensive across all individual areas and create a consolidated Engineering Master Plan to support the Site Master Plan development.
o Implementing a site-wide Work Management improvement initiative.
o Optimizing the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance works.
* Support the investigation of Common Cause failures (Equipment Failure related downtime).
* Provide Reliability input to Capital program (focus on design and maintainability).
* Analysis of Reliability Metrics and generate improvement programs.
* Provide coaching and education to Engineering and other Site stakeholders on PACE Program.
* Provide support in electrical, mechanical, and calibration management. Facilitate development and administration of core site engineering systems and processes including development and review of Engineering Procedures.
Note: Subject Matter Expert Engineers to report directly to Engineering System and Continuous Improvement Leader.
Data Accuracy and System Management: Ensure the accuracy of data and effective management of systems to maximise their use and efficiency using latest Digital technologies.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
* Bachelor's Engineering Degree and 5+ years of experience in Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong and experienced leader with the ability to develop people to their best potential and a manage diverse team.
* Demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to influence at all organizational levels
* Proven skills in problem-solving and project management
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent customer, stakeholder, and relationship management abilities
* Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams
