Carleton Cakes are currently recruiting for a ProductionTeam Leader to join our busy production department. The successful candidate will be a self‑motivated individual who can successfully lead and motivate a team within our fast‑paced food manufacturing environment to ensure that targets are achieved, and the quality of products is upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise & organise team personnel to ensure that daily targets are met and production schematics are followed in an efficient manner.
* Observe operations and ensure that product quality standards are communicated, implemented and maintained.
* Develop an understanding and working knowledge of all production equipment including production line set up to ensure relevant procedures are followed and equipment is operating correctly.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring that the company is always audit‑ready. This includes adhering to HACCP, GMP, and the Company Hygiene Code of Practice.
* Provide training and support for new starters and existing employees as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in supervising and/or leading a team (essential)
* Previous experience in food production/manufacturing (essential)
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
* Good communication skills to motivate and enthuse staff
* Be able to communicate fluently in English (written & spoken)
Shift Patterns
* Monday - Friday
