Occupational Therapist, Outpatient Therapy Clinics- PRN/As Needed

The outpatient therapy department operates thirteen clinic locations serving all of Waukesha County. These locations complete over 13,000 outpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff provide care for patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, and medical diagnoses. The department includes over 108 therapists offering rehab services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Pediatric and cancer rehab are available as clinic-specific specialties.
Hours: Clinics are open from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7 am to 5:30 pm on Fridays. This role is pool/prn and may require working at any of our 5 clinic locations where OT services are provided. Weekend or holiday work is not required, but working until 7 pm may be necessary. Clinic locations include: Waukesha Memorial Outpatient, Mukwonago, Oconomowoc, West Wood, and Waterford. The clinical work primarily involves adult outpatient orthopedic or neurological conditions.
What You Will Do:
Evaluate individuals referred for occupational therapy. Establish prognosis and treatment plans. Implement OT treatments based on evaluations and plans of care. Re-assess ongoing treatment effects. Collaborate with and consult others involved in care. Supervise occupational therapy assistants and aides.
What You Will Need:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
* Current BLS certification through AHA (or ability to obtain at time of hire)
* Occupational Therapist licensure through the State of WI (OTR)
* At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred
