**Job Title:** Support Services Manager
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Support Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or Autism in a leadership role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of support staff, overseeing the implementation of Person Centred plans, and ensuring the highest quality of care and support for our service users. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, a strong understanding of human rights and low arousal approaches, and experience working with teams to support adults with complex needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage a team of support staff, providing guidance and support as needed
* Oversee the implementation of Person Centred plans, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual
* Ensure the highest quality of care and support for service users, promoting their independence and autonomy
* Collaborate with Programme Coordinators and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
* Participate in audits and evaluations, implementing actions as identified to improve services
**Requirements:**
* A third-level qualification in a relevant professional discipline
* At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar field
* Excellent leadership and management skills, with a strong understanding of human rights and low arousal approaches
* Experience working with teams to support adults with complex needs, particularly those with intellectual disabilities or Autism
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, service users, and families
