Facilities Maintenance Expert
Job Overview:
* Work collaboratively with a team of maintenance professionals to ensure optimal functioning of facilities and provide exceptional maintenance services.
* Carry out predictive maintenance (PPM) and periodic servicing in accordance with the established maintenance schedule.
* Collaborate with maintenance engineers on daily projects and installations, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
* Identify innovative solutions to enhance equipment performance of electrical systems, leveraging expertise in pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Procure necessary electrical/mechanical parts in line with departmental approval processes.
* Meet stringent deadlines and demonstrate unwavering attention to detail when working independently.
* Adhere to comprehensive health & safety procedures, respecting rules and regulations at all times.
* Conduct routine and maintenance inspections to guarantee facility integrity and compliance.
* Perform other duties designated by the facilities manager or team leader as required.
* 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs, with a proven track record of success.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment within a management role, preferably in maintenance or operations.
* Proficiency in fault-finding techniques and troubleshooting methodologies.
* Strong understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics principles, with ability to apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.
* TIG/arch welding, machinery, and plant repair experience is highly desirable, as is the ability to manage time effectively and exceed deadlines.
* Familiarity with food manufacturing environments is an asset, as is excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
