We have a fantastic vacancy for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our remarkable Front Office the team.
The Assistant Front of House Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the seamless operation of the reception and guest services function.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this position ensures a consistently high standard of guest experience from arrival through departure.
You will support the day-to-day running of the front desk, oversee check-in and check-out processes and lead the team in delivering service aligned with Marriott and Forbes standards.
Your leadership and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining operational excellence and guest satisfaction Key Duties and Responsibilities Support the daily operation of the Front of House, ensuring efficient and professional reception services Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Front Of House Manager.
Take ownership of guest satisfaction scores and drive continuous improvement.
Support performance management including appraisals, coaching and development processes Oversee and assist with guest check-in and check-out, ensuring accuracy and a seamless experience Ensure all team members are proficient in and consistently utilise Opera PMS for guest management and administrative tasks Uphold and enforce Marriott Service Standards and actively support the delivery of Forbes standards training Maintain a strong front desk presence, engaging with guests and creating a welcoming, polished environment Handle guest queries, requests and concerns with professionalism, efficiency, and discretion Support the training, and ongoing development of Front of House team members Lead daily briefings, ensuring clear communication of VIP arrivals, service priorities, and operational updates Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations and other departments to ensure smooth guest journeys Monitor room allocations, guest preferences and special requests to enhance the overall guest experience Assist with rostering, payroll, and administrative duties as required Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and brand standards at all times Required: Previous Experience in Luxury hospitality Experience in Opera beneficial but not essential Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills High standards of dress and presentation Fluent level of English and eligible to work in Ireland.
