Senior Oracle Developer – Daily Rate Contract
Stelfox is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to join one of our banking clients based in Dublin, Ireland.
Excellent daily rate
Hybrid 3 days on-site and 2 days remote each week
You will join the Finance Technology team as a developer, contributing to the design and enhancement of high-performance, business-critical systems. This role focuses on building a strategic platform supporting key financial operations, with opportunities to drive innovation through a forward-looking roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
* Rewrite/migrate functionality in some of the existing reference data systems to our strategic platforms.
* Building tools to reduce time to market for onboarding new feeds, including data quality monitoring, data reconciliation and automated test tools.
* Adding new features to the core reference data platform to manage data quality and analytics.
* Develop new features in our strategic platforms.
* In addition, you will occasionally be providing third-level support for the applications.
* You will also be expected to gain an understanding of the business data domain and perform analysis when necessary.
Skills required:
* Minimum of 8 years of strong Oracle development experience (PL/SQL), with expertise in large-scale databases, including index strategies, partitioning, performance tuning, optimisation, and stored procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
* Results-driven and experienced in Agile development methodologies.
