Programme Executive Building Energy Rating (BER) You MUST be in Ireland for this role. (Dublin, Cork, Dundalk or Sligo) About the Opportunity We are currently looking to recruit a Programme Executive/Project Engineer in the area of Building Energy Ratings (BER). This operational team is responsible for day-to-day BER operations and will manage large scale programmes in both commercial and domestic buildings. This client is leading the way in reducing carbon footprints across the country and are making huge efforts to ascertain carbon natural status for small and large energy consumers in Ireland. Key Responsibilities Oversee the effectiveness of the BER Quality Assurance (QA) framework ensuring it operates efficiently and in line with SEAIs regulatory obligations. Manage QA process updates and contribute to process improvement initiatives identified as part of our quality governance framework and via regular business analysis. Review, maintain and update QA documentation and process resources. Collaborate with SEAI colleagues and external partners to deliver BER programme objectives. Work closely with IT partners and BER Software & Systems colleagues to maintain, update and improve the QA software infrastructure. Manage delivery of key QA projects. Other duties/projects as may be assigned from time to time. Experience/Requirements Minimum Level 7 (NFQ) degree in engineering, quality, energy, building services. At least 5 years of directly relevant experience in building performance assessment, energy modelling or sustainability consultancy. Working knowledge of building energy performance methodologies, specifically DEAP and NEAP. Proven ability to manage multi projects with diverse internal/external stakeholders. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization in public forums. Quality Management experience. Current BER Assessor certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. A strong understanding of building energy systems and a history of delivering positive customer experiences.
